Physiology of Exercise Laboratory

Prerequisites: EXCM 201; this course can also be a corequisite.
The purpose of this course is to provide a practical and hands-on approach to studying the body's response to exercise congruent with material learned in EXCM 201 Lecture. This is accomplished through a combination of exercise-related lab activities, in-lab discussions, and written lab assignments. Students will also develop skills in data organization and visualization.
Outcomes: Interpret metabolic, vascular, respiratory, and skeletal muscle assessment outcomes; Perform basic data organization and visualization techniques in a computer based spreadsheet.
