Public Service Leadership Capstone Project Implementation

Prerequisites: PSLD 441.
Corequisites: Summer 8wk session: elective course completed.
The Public Service Leadership Capstone Project is an opportunity for students to integrate and synthesize the knowledge, values and skills developed in the program as they prepare for a career in public service leadership. The Capstone Project will showcase the student's skill as a leader in a chosen area of professional interest. The Capstone Project Implementation course allows students to apply many aspects of the program to a real-world setting and helps them prepare for a career in public service leadership. The capstone project will allow students practice leadership in executing a project of their design within a chosen professional setting. Students will showcase their skill as a leader through project presentation and reflection.
Outcomes: Implement a project that applies concepts and theories learned in the program to a chosen area of focus; Practice leadership in executing the project; Present and reflect on leadership role.
