Teaching Internship in Psychology

Prerequisites: Junior or Senior standing; Department consent required.
This course provides undergraduate students serving as teaching assistants in psychology academic structure and guided reflection. Through readings, discussions, and reflective assignments, students will develop skills in supporting student learning and managing classroom responsibilities. The course complements practical work as teaching assistants in psychology courses, integrating theory and practice.
Outcomes: Demonstrate understanding of how students learn and how to facilitate effective classroom engagement; Connect teaching experiences to psychological and educational theory; Develop transferable professional skills such as leadership and organization.
