Field-Based Experience and Capstone in Applied Behavior Analysis
Prerequisites: EABA 400, EABA 405, and EABA 415.
This course is designed for students to obtain applied experience that is anchored to the literature. This course also focuses on supporting students as they complete their final project for their master's degree program. This allows for greater flexibility in coordinating with field-based supervisors to accomplish translational or applied research related to the capstone project.
Outcomes: Develop and apply behavioral measurement techniques; Demonstrate competence in research and experimental design; Understand and apply ethical and professional guidelines; Develop research and scholarly writing skills; Conduct behavioral assessments and develop evidence-based interventions; Apply research to real-world behavior analytic practice; Develop and refine a research-based Capstone project; Conduct data analysis and interpret research findings; Demonstrate research and writing proficiency; Engage in the research review and revision process; Manage long-term research goals and academic milestones.
