Basics of Power Lifting Activity Lab
This is an activity-based course that provides students with the opportunity to learn and perform powerlifting exercises. The focus is on teaching competition rules and standards on the back squat, bench press and deadlift as well as variations that may improve performance.
Outcomes:
1. Understand the physiological adaptations that occur because of Powerlifting.
2. Perform proper technique for Powerlifting lifts and variations of those lifts.
3. Identify competition rules and stipulations of the Powerlifting lifts.
