Description
Weight Training and Conditioning Activity Lab
This course combines practical training sessions with theoretical knowledge to help students understand the principles of developing strength, endurance, and overall physical fitness through weightlifting and conditioning exercises. Throughout the semester, students will engage in resistance training exercises using free weights and bodyweight exercises. Emphasis will be placed on proper form, technique, and safety to ensure a foundation for long-term success in weight training. Additionally, students will learn how to set realistic fitness goals, and track their progress over time.

Outcomes:
1) Describe proper technique for weight training and conditioning exercises.

2) Understand implementation of weightlifting and aerobic conditioning exercise to improve health outcomes.

3) Perform training exercises with proper technique.
