Description
Data Structures & Algorithms for Informatics
This course introduces data structures and algorithms that are essential for data science and informatics. Here we will focus on identifying the right method for storing data and using the most efficient algorithm for analysis. A subset of data structures and algorithms fundamental to computer science will be covered.

Prerequisite: (MATH/COMP 215 OR COMP 170) AND (COMP 141 OR AMTH-BS OR MATH-BS) Advisory: MATH/COMP 215 preferred.

Outcomes: Students will learn fundamental data structures and algorithms frequently used in informatics and data science; Students will be able to apply this knowledge for data analysis.
