NCCA Group Fitness
This course encompasses an overview of group exercise; to include cardiovascular exercise, strength training and stretching. Students will learn how to lead, instruct and motivate individuals or groups in exercise activities.
Outcomes: Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to: Apply effective, exercise science-based group sessions for different fitness levels; Explain proper technique, demonstrate exercise, and teach appropriate methods to strengthen and stretch certain muscles.
