Description
Foundations of Vocal Technique and Pedagogy
This course will acquaint students with the basics of anatomy and physiology associated with singing technique, including the anatomy of the larynx, the structure of posture and breathing, and the physics of resonance. Additional topics will include vocal registers, healthy use of voice, and the basics of vocal instruction.

Outcomes: Identify the major anatomical structures used in singing and their function. Recognize healthy modes of phonation across musical styles. Learn to structure a voice lesson.
