The Internship Experience
This course provides an opportunity to broaden work and experiential base through immersion within a selected organization. Students spend approximately 8 hours a week interning with their chosen company, institution, nonprofit, small business or other professional setting. Optional to extend the internship a second term.
Prerequisite: CPST 200 and CPST 201 (minimum grade of C+); Enrollment is restricted to SCPS degree seeking students; Minimum 2.5 GPA is required.
Outcomes: To gain real-world professional experience within a targeted work environment; To apply skills and knowledge within context of selected environment; To develop networking opportunities within new professional workplace
