Introduction to Chemistry Research
This two week course will focus on issues of chemical safety, research protocols, data recording, and instrumentation use. Typical course meetings will involve in-class presentations, group discussions, and hands-on experience.
Prerequisite: CHEM 101 and 111 (or CHEM 105).
Outcomes: Expose students to of essential and important issues of chemical safety, research protocols, data recording, and instrumentation use for students preparing for undergraduate and graduate chemistry research.
