Prerequisites: HIST 101, HIST 102, HIST 103, HIST 104, or equivalent; please check requirements for declared majors/minors for exceptions.
This course surveys the history of Africa from dynastic Egypt to post-colonialism. The primary focus of this class is to examine the interactions African peoples had with non-Africans from the 15th century to the present. Engage communication skills and sensitivities.
