Description
Caribbean Literature in English Since 1900
This course will introduce students to the study of literature written in English from the Caribbean in this period. Authors studied may include Lamming, Rhys, Walcott, Cliff, Lovelace, and Brathwaite.

Outcomes: Students will be able to demonstrate understanding of the different genres of Caribbean literature, as well as the personal, political, and cultural contexts of the literature.
