Human Resource Development
Prerequisites: Junior Standing, "C-" or better in HRER 301.
This course examines how organizations develop employees with the technical, interpersonal and leadership skills to be effective in their jobs. The course will incorporate training, development, and performance management topics.
Outcomes: Students will learn how to conduct a training needs assessment, set learning objectives, establish evaluation criteria, select the best instructional methods, conduct a training program and evaluate the impact of the program on the learner and organization; Students will also improve their presentation, team leadership, analytical and writing skills.
