Arabic Literature in Translation
Prerequisites: UCLR 100, UCLR 100C, UCLR 100E, UCLR 100M, or equivalent; please check requirements for declared majors/minors for exceptions.

This course is a survey of Arabic literature in translation with a focus on continuity and change, influence, and major trends, themes, and genres.

Outcomes: Students will gain a foundational knowledge of literature in the Arabic language.
