Description
Teaching Child and Adult Literature
This course introduces the English/language arts education student and the reading specialist student to the relevance and need for incorporating children's and young adult literature in the classroom and to the development and strengthening of literacy.

Outcomes: Students will be knowledgeable about a wide range of children's and young adult literature to use in reading instruction for learners at different stages of reading development and from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
