Description
Stage Design I
Prerequisite: THTR 252.

This course introduces the student to the role of the scenic designer and the process of script analysis, period research and graphic communication utilized to develop a scenic design with a focus on how collaborative interaction may inform those choices.

Outcomes: The student will develop a systematic approach to the scenic designer's creative process and demonstrate the ability to communicate a scenic idea through the practice of sketches, ground plans and scale models.
