Description
Masterpieces of Latin American Literature
Prerequisite: permission of chairperson.

This course is a survey of representative works from pre-Colombian times to the present day, and an introduction to literary genres and defining themes in Latin American literature. It is taught in Spanish.

Outcomes: Students will be able to understand the principal works, movements, and genres in Latin American literature.
