Description
Generation of 1898
Prerequisite: Permission of chairperson.

This course studies the distinctive group of turn-of-the-century Spanish writers known as the 'Generation of 1898': Unamuno, Baroja, Valle-Inclán, Machado, etc.

Outcomes: Students will be able to discern the similarities and differences among the writers of this generation, as well as their relationship to modernism.
