Description
Medical Sociology
This course will examine critical factors affecting mortality and morbidity; mental health; health services; community health; cross-cultural differences; aging and the strategy and conduct of socio-medical research.

Outcomes: The student will be able to critically analyze the social components of illness and of health and to integrate theory and research in the study of health care institutions globally.
