Description
Authoritarian Political Systems
This is a graduate-level seminar on authoritarian political systems. The course explores theoretical perspectives on authoritarianism, political institutions in non-democracies, and paths to democratization.

Outcomes: Students will become familiar with concepts and theories of authoritarianism, gain knowledge about different types of authoritarian rule, and learn about how authoritarian governments work and perpetuate power.
