The Legislative Process
Legislative campaigns and elections, the formal procedures of law making, the influence of political parties and interest groups, and the interaction with the president, the judiciary, and the bureaucracy.

Outcomes: Students will be able to analyze and assess the role and processes of the US Congress in the deliberation and formulation of domestic policies and their impact on the everyday lives of citizens.
