Electricity and Magnetism II
Prerequisite: PHYS 351.

Introduction to electrodynamics and the special theory of relativity.

Outcomes: Students will gain an understanding of electromagnetic field energy and momentum, Maxwell's equations and their applications including electromagnetic radiation and emission, involving retarded potentials and Lorentz covariance.
