Digital Electronics Lab
Prerequisites: PHYS 126 and MATH 162.
Combinatorial and sequential logic devices, oscillators and timers, microprocessor components, CPU operation, computer architecture and digital/analog conversion.
Outcomes: Students will gain a working knowledge of digital electronics design and its application to computers, an understanding of CPU design and operation and the ability to document and report experimental results.
