Analysis II
Prerequisites: MATH 451 or MATH 351 or permission from the Graduate Program Director.
A continuation of MATH 451. A rigorous treatment of Riemann and elements of Lebesgue integration, series, including series of functions, and select topics in continuity and differentiation of multivariable functions, fixed point, implicit and inverse function theorems.
Outcomes: Students will master the mathematical rigor behind undergraduate real analysis and obtain preparation for further graduate courses in analysis and its applications.
