Description
Roman Comedy
Prerequisites: LATN 101 and 102 or their equivalents.

This course focuses on the genre of Roman comedy, including selected plays of Plautus and/or Terence.

Outcomes: Students should be able to translate selected texts in Roman comedy with proficiency and demonstrate knowledge in detail about the authors and their comedies, as well as deeper understanding and appreciation of the historical, social and intellectual contexts and influences pertaining to them.
