Early Christian Poetry
Prerequisites: LATN 101 and LATN 102 or their equivalents.
This courses centers on early Christian poets such as Ausonius, Prudentius and Fortunatus, and their works.
Outcomes: Students should be able to translate the selected works with proficiency, and demonstrate knowledge in detail about the authors and their poems, as well as deeper understanding and appreciation of the historical, social, spiritual, and intellectual contexts of their works.
