Intro to Roman Historians
Prerequisites: LATN 101 and 102 or their equivalents.
This course centers on translation of representative selections from the historical works of Republican, Augustan and other Latin authors.
Outcomes: Students should be able to translate accurately Latin historical prose passages, analyze and appreciate their style and contents, and demonstrate knowledge and understanding of their various contexts and meanings.
