This course, taught in Italian, will examine representative Italian novels of the 20th century by authors such as Svevo, Silone, Calvino, Bassani, P. Levi, and Ginzburg.
Outcomes: Students will demonstrate knowledge of Italian novelists and their prose and their literary style; Students will improve their Italian reading and writing skills.
