Dante-The Divine Comedy
This course, taught in Italian, will examine the Vita Nuova and Divine Comedy of Dante Alighieri and study Dante's poetic world in the context of Medieval culture.
Outcomes: Students will demonstrate knowledge of Dante's Italian and understanding of the historical, cultural, critical and technical vocabulary needed to analyze the Divine Comedy.
