Description
Latina/o History
This course introduces the history of Latinos in the United States from the Spanish Colonial period to the present.

Outcomes: students will develop a greater appreciation and understanding of the important roles played by Latino men and women in U.S. society; the heterogeneity of the Latina/o population, including generational, regional, class, and gender divisions; and the formation of transnational immigrant communities.
