This course focuses on the constitutional, legal, & public policy history of the U. S. from the end of the Civil War to the twenty-first century

Outcomes: Students will demonstrate knowledge of American legal traditions of federalism, civil rights, criminal justice, and civil liberties; understand social, legal, & policy changes; and evaluate US Supreme Court decisions
