Description
Community and Culture in Colonial America
This course covers the story of America's colonial past from its origins in the Atlantic world of the 16th century through its contact and conflicts with Native American peoples.

Outcomes: Students will demonstrate an understanding of the process of colonial settlement, colonial labor and economic patterns, trans-Atlantic immigration, Colonial Wars of Empire and the conquest of native lands.
