The Nazi Revolution
The course will deal with the causes, main features and consequences of the Nazi movement in Germany and Europe from 1919 to 1945.

Outcomes: The students explore the origins of Nazism and the reasons for Hitler's success; Students appreciate the elements of "Nazi culture," the nature of Nazi rule in the 1930s, Nazi foreign policy and aggression in the 1930s, and World War II; They acquire a sense of the Nazi movement as a phenomenon growing out of unique German circumstances as well as one reflecting the larger context of modern western history.
