England to 1485
This course examines the history of medieval England, with an emphasis on its cultural history as manifested through written documents, material remains, art and music.

Outcomes: Students will understand that English culture is an amalgamation of Anglo-Saxon and Norman-French culture, with influences from the Celtic and the Latin culture of Roman Catholicism; and will gain skill in the analysis of primary sources.
