Europe in the Age of Catastrophe, 1900-1945
This course traces the origins of the two world wars in the first half of the twentieth century and assesses the cultural and political movements that transformed Europe and the west in those years.

Outcomes: Students will develop critical thinking and communications skills about how the contemporary world was shaped by the political, military, cultural, and social transformations in the first half of the twentieth century.
