Description
Aeschylus
This course focuses on selected tragedies of Aeschylus, set against the backdrop of fifth century B.C.E. Athens.

Outcomes: Students should demonstrate knowledge in detail about the author, his plays, and the tragedic forms; They should engage with current scholarship addressing Greek tragedy's historical, social, and intellectual contexts and influences.
