This course centers on translation, evaluation and interpretation of selections from Plato's Republic.
Outcomes: Students should be able to translate the selections with proficiency, and demonstrate knowledge in detail about the author and his work, as well as deeper understanding and appreciation of the work's meaning and the historical, social and intellectual contexts and influences pertaining to it.
