Thucydides
This course focuses on the History of the Peloponnesian War of Thucydides, the events about which he writes, and the various contexts in which his work was produced.
Outcomes: Students should be able to translate the History with proficiency, as well as demonstrate knowledge in detail of the work, its author, and its historical and political contexts and significances.
