Modern German Literature and Culture I
Prerequisite: GERM 103 or equivalent.

Representative works in literature, philosophy, and fine arts, with sociopolitical backgrounds, 1830-1900.

Outcomes: Students will be able to understand revolutionary post-romanticism, realism, and naturalism in German literature and culture.
