Description
20th Century Literature in English
Focusing on the relation between texts and their literary and cultural contexts, this course may include any twentieth-century text written in English and may address a particular theme, literary movement, period, nation, or historical event. We may also interrogate the foundation of such categories.

Outcomes: Students will gain an understanding of the diversity of forms, politics, themes, and identities in 20th-century literature and the scholarly criticism about it; Students will learn how to teach and write about this literature through oral and written assignments.
