Prerequisites: Sophomore standing; For SES undergrads and EVCM minors, pre-req is waived.
This course explores the rhetorical means by which citizens influence the policies and practices affecting our natural and human environments. The focus is on current controversies.
Outcomes: The course seeks to provide an understanding of the history and range of communication styles in the US environmental movement and to help students develop practical skills relevant to entering into environmental debates.
