Western Patristic Thought
This course centers on first-hand study of the leading voices of early Christianity in the western portion of the Roman Empire, from the first century C.E. to Augustine.

Outcomes: Students should be able to demonstrate detailed knowledge about the western Church fathers, their works, and the impact of these upon the Church and its teachings.
