Prerequisites: BIOL 265 and permission of chair.
Ecological study of an area in North America outside Midwest. Includes a field trip to a specific region. Trip is at student expense.
Outcomes: Students will become familiar with an ecosystem outside the Chicago Region; gain a first-hand understanding of the interrelationships of living things and their environment; develop a loving appreciation of "wilderness."
