Description
This course centers on extensive readings of pertinent classical authors from Homer to Plato, tracing the evolution of aspects of human belief. (This is a capstone course for majors in Classical Studies.)

Outcomes: Students should be able to demonstrate deeper understanding of the nature of the human individual and the relationship of the human person both to the material and spiritual world; They should be able to assess and interpret ancient Greek texts concerned with these issues and topics.
