This course focuses on types and styles of academic and scholarly writing. Students learn and apply elements of a rhetorical situation in the production of written work. Style and formatting considerations of scholarly writing are integrated into the drafting and revision of various forms of written work. Experiences with editing, peer-evaluation, and self-evaluation are integrated into the course, along with responding to substantive feedback in the revision of written work.
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
