A detailed study of the human body and its systems. Applied Human Anatomy and Physiology I course will cover rudimentary anatomy and physiology consisting of cell structure and formation, histology, and the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems.
Outcomes: Identify major anatomical components of each human system covered; Describe major anatomical components of each human system covered; Understand physiologic functions regarding molecular components, cells, tissues, organ systems and multicellular organisms; Describe the regulation of the human body and how body systems are integrated; Identify concepts from the lecture to the laboratory activities; Demonstrate learned anatomical concepts through hands-on laboratory assessments.
