Description
Prerequisites: EXCM 101 and EXCM 155 and EXCM 155L Anatomy & Physiology.

The physiological functions of the body and the effect of exercise on these functions.

Outcomes: Define the structure and function of physiological systems in the body that are essential for the maintenance of homeostasis during exercise; Identify the important physiological responses that occur during exercise and adaptations to chronic exercise training; Interpret practical knowledge of exercise physiology to various health, fitness and athletic scenarios; Outline the assessment of health-related physical fitness and performance tests.
