Description
The field of bioinformatics is ever evolving. As new technologies develop, demand arises for new methods and tools. Courses will focus on emerging trends in bioinformatics.

Restricted to Bioinformatics Graduate Students.

Student will learn about emerging topics in the field.
Class Notes
Review and reinforce the foundations of human complex trait genetics. Critically analyze, synthesize, and discuss primary literature in human genetics. Increase proficiency in scripting, command line tools, and visualizations used in the field. Independently design, implement, and evaluate genome-wide analyses of human phenotypes. Improve communication skills for presenting research to peers and interdisciplinary colleagues.
