Description
Students will explore literature on trauma sensitive schools and the intersection with race and discrimination. They will use Multi-Tiered systems of support to support students at each tier and support staff and families.

Outcomes: Gaining a basic understanding of the subject (eg, factual knowledge, methods, principles, generalizations, theories); Learning to apply course material (to improve thinking, problem solving, and decisions); Developing specific skills, competencies, and points of view needed by professionals in the field most closely related to this course; Learning to apply knowledge and skills to benefit others or serve the public.
